Vikan Ergonomic Shovel, 1280 mm
Description
Ergonomic Shovel, 1280 mm (Vikan)
The Vikan Ergonomic Shovel is a long-handled shovel for moving large amounts of food waste or food ingredients. It is designed around the user's working position, which makes it a good fit for working at floor level and for shovelling from container to container. The ergonomic D grip lets the worker press down on the top of the shovel to move heavy loads. The curved handle improves posture and keeps the blade in good contact with the surface, and the long handle makes it easier to shovel material off the floor.
The smaller, flat pan suits heavier materials and tighter spaces. The bevelled blade scrapes away dried-on material and picks up fine, loose debris. The one-piece design is durable and reduces harbourage points, and the shovel is easy to clean. The isolated grip stays comfortable in cold environments, and the shovel suits left- and right-handed users equally. It is made in Denmark from polypropylene and anodised aluminium, and its colour coding supports hygienic zoning plans and 5S lean programs.
