Pulex Microtiger Sleeves
Description
The Pulex MicroTiger range of applicator Sleeves are great for fast dirt removal. The red stripes are made of a light abrasive material that gives the sleeve great cleaning power. The white stripes are microfiber and hold water well. Fits standard T Bars.

What does a Pulex MicroTiger Sleeve do? A sleeve is used at apply the soapy water used to clean windows. The soapy water is removed by a Squeegee. Sleeves are as known as 'a washer' or 'a soapy'.
Why the Pulex MicroTiger Sleeve? It is made from microfiber material so it has good water retention. The Velcro fastening makes it easy to fit. The abrasive pad is useful for removing stubborn marks and bird mess. The red abrasive strips that run the length of the sleeve add extra cleaning power. At Window Cleaning Stuff (WCS) we stock the full range of sizes for the Pulex MicroTiger.
Do I need anything else apart from the Sleeve? Yes, you need a T Bar. The Sleeve is fitted over the T Bar of the same size. You will also need a Squeegee - this is used to remove the liquid from the window. A cloth or scrim may be required to wipe around the edges of the window to remove an excess water. We suggest another cloth is used to wipe the sill.
How to use a sleeve: With the Sleeve fitted to a T Bar. Make up a solution of detergent. Unger SYR and Ettore all make good detergents for cleaning windows - See the Category 'Detergents For Windows.' An Oblong Bucket makes wetting the applicator easier - See Category 'Buckets'. Wet the sleeve by immersing it in detergent. Remove the excess detergent (many window cleaners do this by running their hand along the applicator). The applicator should not be dripping. Rub the sleeve all over the window to cover the glass. Use the pad on the end of the sleeve to remove any stubborn marks or bird droppings. Rub the sleeve against the window - up and down, from side to side, in a circular motion covering the window in suds. When all the dirt is loose, use a squeegee to remove the detergent. Repeat if necessary. When the window is clean wipe any excess detergent away.
How do I choose the right size of Pulex MicroTiger Sleeve? The most popular size is 35cm 14". This is suitable for many windows. As a guide, the larger the window, the larger the applicator. Georgian style windows may use smaller applicators while patio doors (the smallest Pulex MicroTiger is 10" 25cm), offices and shops require bigger applicators (18" 45cm). It saves time to get the right size applicator for the right size of window.
What is a 'washer' or a 'soapy'? A washer or soapy is another name for an applicator. An applicator is a sleeve and a T Bar.
Care: Keep it clean. Wash the Sleeve to remove the build up of soap and dirt. wash at a low temperature with only a small amount of detergent and no conditioner. Air dry, do not tumble dry.
