Recommended Colour-Coding System

Red – Toilets and sanitary areas

Yellow – Production equipment, machinery and workshop areas

Blue – Offices, reception, meeting rooms and general public areas

Green – Lunchrooms, staff kitchens and food preparation areas

Separate cloths, mops, brushes and buckets should always be used for each colour-coded area to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
